Founder of Hikari Scissor, Fukutaro Takahashi was a hair stylist.

He won at regional contest in Japan, however he could not win at national contest.

He challenged several times, but he could not make it. Then he focused on tool, scissors.

After several years of research, he invented a sharp scissor, and established Hikari Cutlery Laboratory.

This is the beginning of Hikari’s manufacturing department.
